Discover Recover Ltd assists and supports CareWhere Ltd in the distribution of asset location devices along with the provision of a locate / recovery service for stolen assets and also provides a separate investigative services and training arm.

Discover Recover Ltd is led by John Ashworth, an ex-senior CID officer with over 30 years of operational, covert and forensic investigation experience, gained in the UK and abroad. John has also been involved in delivering crime skills training to several European and African countries, the police, military and private industry in the UK.

There are five main parts to our business:

Distribution of locating and tracking devices for CareWhere Ltd - we only agreed to sell these devices because, unlike some others in the market they live up to the claims made about them and continue to function properly despite being put through some challenging situations - we have personally tested these devices and are completely satisfied that they operate properly regardless of what we threw at them - for instance we tested one of the devices in water and then attached it to a RIB engine, took it around the Isle of Wight in some fairly rough conditions - it functioned perfectly. We have also put devices into plant and agricultural vehicles - not the most friendly environments in terms of vibration - with no problems at all!

Fitting

In conjunction with CareWhere Ltd we provide a fitting service for devices. The devices can be placed into a vast number of different hiding places within a vehicle, boat or other asset. We fit them covertly in order that it is difficult, if not impossible, for a thief to locate and remove.

Locate / recovery

We use a team of former Police and Military associates spread across the UK and overseas who are responsible for the investigation, location and recovery of stolen assets. As well as undertaking the primary objective which is the recovery of the asset we will also secure any relevant material which is identified during enquiries to locate the asset, for potential evidential / investigative use.

Investigative services

We provide covert and discreet investigative services for solicitors and private clients - all conducted to an evidential standard.

Investigative training

We provide, through a network of qualified subject matter experts, a range of investigative training. The courses we are able to provide are detailed on the Solutions and Services page. All our trainers are subject matter experts - not just qualified trainers, but experienced practitioners who can bring a tremendous amount of personal knowledge and experience to the course.
